Glendale, Az., February 19, 2013 – Operation American Patriot, (OAP) is a Non-Profit philanthropic organization inspired by Senator John McCain and his Veterans Coalition Volunteers. OAP provides support to veterans including advocacy, coordination with the VA, financial counseling, legal, and crisis. The organization has already assisted 380 veterans and has caught the attention of individuals at state and federal levels as something that may become a model program for this need.

OAP is currently housed in one of Banner’s facilities, the Olive Branch Senior Center in Sun City, which they have outgrown, so a donated modular building has been developed. Guthrie General, Inc., in conjunction with Banner, has proudly donated the rough carpentry for the project, which is set for completion this month.
