Robin Guthrie – CEO 
Robin Guthrie joined Guthrie General in 1979 with focus on a strategy to achieve her vision for Guthrie General, Inc.  She has had the foresight to develop a talented and dedicated team; many employees which have remained with the company for over 20 years.  Achieving her goal of expanding the company’s services in 2004 to include a complete in house Design/Build turnkey project delivery method has been met with unprecedented success.  Her management has maintained Guthrie General, Inc. as a long standing leader in the healthcare construction industry in Arizona for 4 decades and recently expanding in to California.  Her dedication has kept the company focus on complete customer satisfaction with delivery of projects on time, within budget.  The company’s success is reflected by the fact that 98% of annual revenue is derived from repeat customers. 

Jim Guthrie – President 
Jim joined the company in 1979. During his career he moved through the ranks from carpenter, superintendent to Project Manager and ultimately to Project Director and President. This hands on experience has given him the unique perspective and expertise to implement the company’s field operations. With 35 years successfully serving over 150 healthcare facilities in the Southwest, his understanding of how the complete project comes together provides added value to our clients. He is the guiding force behind our design/build team and instrumental in our preconstruction services. Jim has the reputation of building a project as if it were his own; attention to detail is his hallmark.

Holly Tully –  General Manager 
As the General Manager at Guthrie General, Inc. Holly’s main focus is to ensure clients receive the utmost level of customer service. This begins by recruiting the top employees, people who are trustworthy, hardworking, professional and energetic.  Working together, our team members, through their continued training, dedication and integrity, have formed collaborative relationships with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors, enhancing the company’s reputation for superior workmanship and performance. Repeat business is the highest compliment that Guthrie receives.  Throughout Holly’s more than two decades of serving clients at Guthrie General, Inc. Guthrie continues to maintain many of these original relationships.  Challenge us to prove our level of customer service commitment.

Michael March, Principal – AIA Architect, NCARB
As Principal, Michael focuses on Guthrie General’s commitment to service; fostering the creative latitude necessary for team members to proactively and efficiently provide solutions that meet the Client’s needs.  Combining over 20 years of experience in advanced technology, healthcare and office environments, Michael’s experience in executing fast-track projects and familiarity with complex engineering solutions positions Guthrie General to take full advantage of the latest technology to meet today’s demanding programs and schedules.

Combining past experience as a framer and construction superintendent in both Arizona and California early in his career, Mike is extremely sensitive to “constructability” in the design process without compromising the end result.  That experience has allowed Guthrie General to continually push the envelope of creative, realistic solutions, allowing visions to be realized within the budget and schedule.

Certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board, Michael is currently licensed in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada and Florida.  He received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University of Oregon.

Courtney Stewart – Project Manager, AIA Associate 
As manager of Guthrie’s Design team, Courtney is committed to providing an effortless turnkey construction process for our clients.  Courtney grew up in the family construction business and this exposure provides a unique education for addressing our client’s needs.  With over 15 years experience focused on Healthcare and commercial projects, Courtney is well respected in the industry and known for delivering the visions of the clients she serves.

Recent work includes Cancer Treatment Centers of America Hope Branch, Kindred Hospital Lobby Renovation, numerous Imaging Center projects across the state of Arizona, Dignity Health, Sahara Behavioral Health, DH Pace office renovations, and The Surgical Hospital of Phoenix.

Courtney’s love for architecture drew her to Chicago for her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2004.  Courtney is currently sitting through the Architectural Registration Exams.
