Honeywell – 1240 Control Room
This project consisted of a new CMU building and major utility upgrades and installation of large pieces of owner provided equipment. The ground up building was around 500 sf and house the controls for the new equipment. The ground up building included the standard electrical, plumbing and HVAC services you would see in any building.
The complex part of the project was the major utility upgrades. These upgrades included new electrical feeders, fully welded stainless-steel process piping included compressed air, nitrogen and helium. There was an existing utility vault where the existing piping was running. This vault was extended to the location of the new equipment. Upon completion of the piping the new trench was back filled, and road surface was repaired.
