Ensign – St. Joseph’s Villa

This project consisted of two portions. The first portion of the project was renovations of existing room to bring them to current patient room codes. These rooms were original patient rooms from the 1950’s and were converted into private offices at one point. In order to re-license them as patient rooms ADA upgrades were required at the restrooms. The finishes for the wing were also upgraded as well as new mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. A common shower room was created as required by the state for the occupancy classification of this wing.

The other portion of this project was the renovation and expansion of an existing dining area. The largest part of this portion was the creation of a serving area to allow this dining room to be served from there rather than the main kitchen on the first floor. The space was opened up to the existing corridor to create a more open concept.
