Ensign – Sherwood Village Memory Care

This project included the renovation of 5,632 SF of an existing “abandoned” wing of an assisted living facility. This wing of the facility sat vacant for a few years prior to this project. As a part of this project the wing was stripped down to the studs to upgrade the walls to new fire codes. New footings, steel columns and beams were also added to expand an existing room into a larger activities room and new medication room. An exterior courtyard was also created with a new patio, pergola and fencing. This unit was designated for memory care so all of the doors in/out contained delayed egress and keypad hardware to facilitate proper patient care.
