Banner Baywood Rhodes Rehab In Patient
Guthrie General, Inc. was the CMAR for this 21,300 square foot interior build out. The Rhodes Rehab project was on a very aggressive seven month schedule.
This floor was originally designated for storage but it was decided that it would be better utilized for a 22 private room rehabilitation facility that included a dining room, family room, physical and occupational therapy gyms.
Guthrie General, Inc. was presented with numerous challenges for this project.
- Aggressive seven month schedule
- Reworking and additional under deck waste piping had to be performed above ceiling in the Intensive Care Unit and Pharmacy without interrupting patient care and staff operations
- Maintaining strict infection control measures
- A new air handler unit was installed in six components and set on a curb in an area with height restrictions. The existing floor to deck height caused numerous challenges for the installation of this mechanical system.
