SJHMC – Norton Thoracic Research Institute

This project is an interior build out for a new lab funded by the very generous Norton family grant. This lab specializes in lung transplants and associated research. This buildout included conference rooms, offices, freezer room, microscope room, tissue culture rooms as well as a large open lab space. This project also included a large electrical and lab equipment upgrade. A dramatic front entry was also created using electronic scrolling signage as well a feature wall. No expense was spared in the finishes in the space including a large whiteboard wall that was created using a whiteboard paint.

We have also completed two additional projects related to the expansion of this lab. The first was some additional open lab space that contained more systems furniture lab workstations. This space also included a lung room outfitted with a surgical light for research procedures.

The second expansion was a small lab space with systems furniture and lab gasses which expanded the capability for additional research.
